Denim Day 2025 Proclamation at City Hall

Proclaiming April 30, 2025, to be “Denim Day 2025” in the City of San Diego.

Club members attended City Hall April 22, 2025 for Denim Day/Sexual Assault Awareness Month Proclamation. You can watch their testimony here at the 14 minute mark.

Thanks to Council President Joe LaCava for his amendment committing to "testing every rape kit."

The chair of the public safety committee has asked the staff from the Center for Community Solutions to come to her committee meeting on May 7th to discuss their work with survivors, along with the police department.
