Hello ,
San Diego really turned out for the Hands Off! march. It was a beautiful day with lots of wonderful people. Here are a few pictures.

Coming up next, SAVE THE DATE for our regular meeting on Monday, April 21 at 6:30pm. This month we will hear from Assemblymembers Tasha Boerner and Chris Ward as they provide updates on their work in Sacramento.

We meet in person at Elijah’s, or virtually here:

Elijah’s is located at 7061 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. San Diego, 92111

Also coming up, Wednesday, April 30 is DENIM DAY. Demin Day began in 1999 after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court to overturn a rape conviction because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped the attacker remove them, thereby implying consent. Following the reversal, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim.

Let’s all put on our jeans and gather at Mujeres Brew House on April 30, 5-7pm. We’ll build community and raise awareness about Sexual Assault. To learn more about Denim Day, click here:

Mujeres Brew House is located at 1983 Julian Ave. San Diego, 92113. It is an all ages, outdoor venue with street tacos and beverages available to purchase. Put April 30th on your calendar now!

Lastly, if you have not yet done so, take a moment to join or renew your 2025 membership now:
