Democratic Woman's Club

Hello ,
There will be no meeting tonight to allow members the opportunity to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on his significant legacy in advancing civil rights, equality, and justice.

Instead, we encourage you to volunteer and/or attend the 7th Annual Women of Color Roar Breakfast on Saturday, February 1st! If you would like to volunteer to help at the event, please sign up here: SignUp.com Mobile

To attend, purchase your tickets here: Rooted in Resilience: Honoring the Strength and Contributions of Black Women

We will be back at Elijah’s for our regular meeting on Monday, February 17 at 6:30pm. We will be joined by Meghan Plant from I Love a Clean San Diego to discuss real ways individuals can reduce their impact on the environment through simple steps, focusing on topics such as proper recycling practices and creating zero waste habits.

We will also be electing Club Officers

Reminder: please take a moment to renew your 2025 membership now:

The purpose of the Democratic Woman’s Club of San Diego County is to amplify women's issues through education and advocacy and to foster active interest in the Democratic Party, supporting the party platforms, contributing to party leadership and responsibility, providing a constructive role for the volunteer in Democratic politics, and developing an activist base.
We demand equality of opportunity, a level playing field, and fair and equal treatment for all.

We are dismantling the patriarchy.
