Happy Women’s History Month!
At our meeting on March 18, we will have a presentation from 1619 National Celebration of Black Women. We will meet Founder Sheryl Mallory-Johnson and Member Leah Goodwin as they share an opportunity to partner in quilt creation. Learn more about 1619 here
We will also have a report back on the California Women’s List Her Stories study(partially funded by DWC)which analyzed the mental health impacts of hostility women candidates face in California. Find the study here (PDF)
Lastly, we will consider a vote on whether to join the California Coalition to End Child Marriage. Info here
